Despite my credentials, I am a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a Christian, a U.S. Army veteran, and a lover of life. I am originally from Albany, GA and an avid football and basketball fan of any college and professional teams from the state of GA.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCS) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I strive to strengthen hope and purpose and collaboratively bring healing to you and your relationships both personally and professionally. With nearly 15 years of mental health experience, I have worked with individuals and couples from around the world as well as those diagnosed with developmental disabilities (i.e. autism). Additionally, I have served minorities of various ethnic groups and individuals within the LGBTQ community.
My specialties include:
-
- Military Families
- Marital/Partnership issues
- Teenager/Adolescent issues
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Families affected by developmental disabilities
My approach is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and collaborative. I will “walk” alongside you and/or your relationship to empower and inspire hope and healing. Click below to set up your first appointment:
Community Giving
At Coastal Family Services, I believe sharing is caring! Therefore, I am giving back to the community to extend my reach beyond those I serve directly. I have elected to donate a portion of my monthly revenue to Autism Society of Cumberland County.
I have 10-year-old identical, twin boys diagnosed with severe autism. Autism Society of Cumberland County has been a strong resource for my family and I, and every donation is to ensure other families in Cumberland County are afforded the same resource. North Carolina has an autism prevalence rate (1:57 individuals) above the national average (1:68 individuals). Over 65,000 North Carolinians are currently diagnosed with autism.
Every session is an opportunity to help a family caring for someone with an autism diagnosis.
